...and seriously higher than average winters and summers, bigger storms and more...

The crew of the space shuttle can see with the naked eye, damage to the Earth.

Many parts of the world have been having really strange weather for the past few years. Winters that are way too warm, summers that are blisteringly hot. Hurricane seasons continually besting the records set by the previous year.

But there's no conclusive proof that human activity has anything to do with this stuff. Perhaps it is random chance? God's will? Gaia's revenge? Physics?

It does make me seriously worried. The rate of change (visible change at least) is increasing rapidly. Whatever is going on is happening faster and is having more impact each year. By the time my kids are my age I really do wonder what the world will look like. Will everyone be huddling in northern Canada to find livable temperatures?
