I've always enjoyed following astronomy, and seeing an actual picture of a planet around another star is too cool!!

Hey man,

How do they know that's really a planet and not just some "stuff" being thrown off the new star into space? I've always wondered about stuff like this - how so much seems to be determined from a picture, which denotes a single moment in time.
