Rob put me on to this little meme - cool idea:

1. Go To Mapquest.com
2. Click on Directions
3. Enter your Current Address and the Address of your Childhood Home (or at least the town if you don't remember the exact address)
4. Put the time and distance in a post like this.
5. Don't forget to repost these directions. (Not the door to door ones).

Total Est. Time: 2 hours, 48 minutes
Total Est. Distance: 125.61 miles

On the whole though, MapQuest thinks it takes longer to get places than it really does. And there's the small problem that it can't actually find my childhood home, so I had to just use the nearest town (14 miles away).

Without resorting to Mapquest, I can say that I'm at the moment no more than five miles from the 'area' where I grew up. When I was a kid, there were several diffrnet places the family lived, but they were all within one extended neighborhood of St. Paul - just about exactly across the river and a few miles down the road from where I live now.

Woo hoo. I'm a big winner. Less than ten miles progress across my whole life.

LOL! Knowing who was asking the question, I read the title question and wondered "Spiritually, Intellectually, or Physically?"

Since Mapquest doesn't track spiritual or intellectual journeys, however...I will assume phisically is the correct answer. LOL!

Sure...if I turn left to get from home to here instead of right...

:-)

That's a heck of a long way from home, Keith.
