It appears Joss Whedon has given up on Firefly and Serenity after giving it a good run.

Here's a friend of mine complaining about Microsoft - for something that is very clearly Yahoo's fault...

This happens all the time, and I find it frustrating. Certainly there are some areas where Microsoft deserves criticism and scrutiny. But just because some other company comes up with a lame-ass way to run ads on their site doesn't mean Microsoft is bad. It means Yahoo is bad.

Now it turns out that some MSN.com pages have ads I consider to be even more annoying - floating, animated jobs that really get in the way. THAT is a good reason to criticize Microsoft, because that is their fault...

It is kind of like when people download a new video card driver and their system destabilizes. Microsoft's fault? So they say. But really it is the driver manufacturer's fault. They created the crappy software that crashed your machine.

(Yes, I know, Microsoft should have protected us. Just want I want: Microsoft as my mother, protecting me from all evils. Now THAT is a scary thought...)

All I'm saying is that criticism should be directed at the correct target. If it is Microsoft great, otherwise direct it where it belongs...

Not only are Dover, PA's citizens relatively sane, but their Republican, Christian judges are too!

Oppression is right around the corner and both the left and right need to join in common cause to protect our freedoms!

Apparently the FCC has decided that the best way to curb complaints about content on cable TV is to push for an a la carte channel scheme. But they are missing the point...
